Welcome to my
web site. In case you haven't
guessed, this site is all about
Chihuahuas (pronounced she-WAH-wah).
Chihuahuas are often referred to
as the tiny dog with a big
heart, and that couldn't be more
true.
Chihuahuas are terrier-like.
They have lots of energy, but
will also be happy to lay around
with you on lazy days. Their
beautiful, apple-shaped heads
are distinctive, and you will
notice their bright, alert
expression. They are also small
enough that they are easy to
travel with, easy to train and
should be socialized at a young
age. Taking them to
obedience classes is a good way
to socialize.
They are very affectionate and
loyal, and they bond strongly
with their people. It’s easy to
see why it’s important to keep
an eye on these little ones:
they have no idea of their small
size, and they would take on the
world for you!
It is wise to do research on the
breed to see if they are for
you. They can be noisy and need
to be socialized at an early
age.
Good dispositions are also at
the top of the list for quality
dogs. I breed only dogs with
outstanding temperaments; I
have Champion bloodlines and I
strive to improve the breed.
When the puppies are ready to
leave they’re typically around 8
weeks old, although smaller
puppies may have to wait a
little longer, depending on
their size. At that time they
will have had their first shot
and a full vet check-up. Their
health is guaranteed. New owners
will receive a “Puppy Pack” to
get them started.
My Chihuahua’s are my life and
love- my “kids”- and I work hard
to find the best homes for them.
I have both coats: smooth and
long. Both are beautiful in
their own way. Chihuahuas don't
color breed, so it’s a surprise
with each litter to see what
colors we get! Some dogs are
smaller, and some are larger,
but none will exceed the breed
standard of 6lbs. From the
smallest to the biggest
Chihuahua all sizes make
charming and desirable pets.
